It publishes no plan prices anywhere, it is rated Teen on Play while permitting mature themes, and it is owned by the Shanghai company MiniMax.

That combination is why Talkie generates such strange search behavior. The first is the content rating. Talkie is rated Teen on Google Play, and the experience permits a good deal more than that label suggests.
