The US App Store lists a Launch Plan at $9.99 monthly or $59.99 yearly and a Standard Plan at $15.99 monthly, $39.99 quarterly or $99.99 yearly, plus Nomi Credits sold separately in five packs from $4.99 to $99.99. It is rated 18+, carries a Sexual Content or Nudity descriptor, and holds 4.6 stars from about 2,700 US ratings.

Most Nomi reviews are written by people who used it for a weekend. That is the wrong test for this app, because the entire pitch is what happens after eight weeks, when it brings up the name of your sister's dog unprompted. A caution on reading those figures. Apple publishes in-app purchase names and prices but not always the billing period, and the plan names here do most of the work. What are Nomi credits for?

Credits pay for the generative extras rather than the conversation: selfies, images and other consumable features. They are sold in five sizes from $4.99 for 40 credits up to $99.99 for 1,800. The pricing is roughly linear, so buying the biggest pack saves you a little but not dramatically. If you only ever type, you can ignore credits entirely and the subscription is the whole cost. Is Nomi AI safe?

Beyond age, skip it if you want a platonic friend. How do you cancel a Nomi subscription?

If you subscribed through the iPhone app, cancel in Apple's subscription settings rather than inside Nomi: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Nomi and cancel. Deleting the app does not stop the billing, which is the single most common cause of an unexpected charge. If you subscribed on the web, cancel from your account settings on Nomi's own site.
